Book Week
Avoca N.S. hosted the Annual Book Week prior to the midterm break. The children were busy making posters of their favourite books and writing lots of scary stories. Our dress-up day was held on Friday, the 23rd of October. All of the school gathered in a socially distant manner in the front yard. We had the costume parade followed by voting on the various categories. The winners of the dress up awards and poster competitions received their prizes. The essay winners received their prizes this week. The emojis came to see us in our costumes on Friday. Everybody had a great day. Well done to all participants.
