Second Class Art
Ms Byrne's Second Class have been busy learning about the artist Pablo Picasso. They learned about an art technique that Picasso practised. It is called Cubism. One of the primary goals of cubism was to depart from the traditional understanding of perspective and spacial cues. Their early experiments with the style used extremely bright colours, hard-edged forms, and flattened space. The children completed fine drawings using this technique. Second Class enjoyed learning about Picasso.
